9:00 am: Modern Traditional Worship
If you prefer a more formal style of worship: choir, organ, responsive readings, and pews; this is the service for you. Dress ranges from “dressy” to casual. Children’s Sunday School meets this hour for ages 3-18. Our choir is accompanied by an electronic keyboard, and follows a more modern repertoire. Our Communion services on the first Sunday of the month vary in the type of ritual which is used between very traditional and interactive. Arrive by the front doors under the portico. Parking is on either side of the building with reserved visitor spaces.
10:00am: Fellowship Time
Refreshments are available upstairs in Sloan Hall. Stop in and get acquainted!
10:30 am: Contemporary Worship
If you’re looking for a praise band with guitars and drums – and coffee, this is your service. We meet just after the combined fellowship time, to which you are invited, at 10am. Dress is casual to very casual. We sit around tables and follow the ‘songs- offering- prayer- message- another song’ model of worship. Children stay with us (and sometimes dance) for opening songs and are dismissed to Kidz Crew, a time to get to know more about Bible characters and have fun. Communion in this service is less formal and regularly uses intinction, dipping the bread into the cup. Arrive by the side doors off the west parking lot.
All our services are handicapped accessible for mobility. Our elevator can be reached through the front doors. We have a nursery, staffed by cleared and trained adults and youth helpers at each service.
For special occasions, we come together into one service with elements of both styles.
